PROJECT STATUS
Project discontinued
The website was taken offline following internal circumstances at FushimiSake Wagyu, and further work on the project was discontinued. This portfolio preserves the design and development work completed up to that point.

01 / THE CONTEXT
The value runs deeper than the animal.
For a Wagyu breeder, an animal represents generations of decisions. The website needs to communicate that depth: the bloodlines behind the cattle, the performance that informs selection, and the potential those genetics bring to another herd.
My design task was to make a specialist subject approachable while giving the program a distinctive visual presence.
02 / THE APPROACH
From first impression to informed interest.
I structured the homepage to answer three questions in sequence: what makes this program distinctive, how its breeding decisions are made, and which offerings a visitor can explore.
An opening with presence.
Large typography, a dark photographic backdrop, and gold accents give the hero a distinctive first impression. Two calls to action let visitors choose between learning about lineage and exploring inventory.
A story with a focal point.
The Miss Marble section puts a specific animal at the centre of the narrative. It gives the program’s focus on lineage and performance a concrete subject before introducing the wider breeding philosophy.
A clear route to the next step.
Dedicated sections distinguish embryos and semen from heifers and bulls. Contextual calls to action connect each offering to exploration or a conversation.

03 / THE BUILD
Designed and developed in Framer.
I handled both website design and Framer development. That let me carry the visual decisions into the build, from typography and image treatment to section pacing and calls to action, without a separate design-to-development handoff.

04 / THE FINISHED EXPERIENCE
One story, from positioning to enquiry.
The final page connects brand introduction, breeding philosophy, and genetic offerings in a single journey. This project shows how I bring content structure, visual direction, and a Framer build together around a specialist business.
